22 AS students will be visiting Moscow and St Petersburg on the History trip to Russia. Their eyes will be opened to the wonders of Russian history and culture! In Moscow students will be visiting Red Square, including Lenin’s Mausoleum where Lenin’s body is still preserved from 1924. They will also have a tour inside the Kremlin the political and historic heart of Russia as well as visiting the Cosmonautic Museum which details the space race between Russia and the USA. Then to St Petersburg the imperial city of the Tsars, visiting the Winter Palace which was central to the 1905 and October 1917 Revolutions and now is home to the Hermitage Museum, one of the most impressive art collections in the world. The group will also visit the Alexander Palace, home of the last Tsar Nicholas II; Kirov’s apartment preserved as it was on the day of his infamous murder in 1934 and Piskarevsky cemetery where nearly half a million victims of the siege of Leningrad are buried.

New York & Washington DC Trip



AS LAW STUDENTS JET OFF TO NEW YORK & WASHINGTON DC 9TH JULY – 17TH JULY

39 Law students are heading off for New York to observe criminal court proceedings for misdemeanors, visit the United Nations Headquarters to learn about human rights and international peace, visit the Statue of Liberty and the Empire State Building. They will then travel to Washington DC to visit the Supreme Court which is the highest court in the USA, tour the Capitol Building where the nation’s laws are made, visit White House, visit the interactive Crime & Punishment Museum to learn about crime fighting and solving and CSI procedures, visit the FBI Building and the Washington Monument.
